Receptionist & Sales Assistant (windhoek)

The Reception/Sales Assistant is primarily responsible for providing front-line reception for I-Surgical and the day-to-day support for Sales and Marketing activities. As the successful candidate you have strong communication skills. You are poised, positive, outgoing, and cheerful with a professional demeanor. You demonstrate integrity, honesty, teamwork, and a genuine concern for others. You are a self-starter who takes initiative, and you are capable of juggling multiple priorities with strong follow-through skills and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform requested secretarial duties
• Receiving all walk-in clients or health professionals courteously
• Prepare quotations and bids as instructed
• Follow up on clients that requested quotes or services
• Assist with the Office Administrative duties
• Receive and recording all telephonic enquiries and forward to relevant department
• Providing feedback in respect of enquiries
• Communication via email and telephone with clients
• Assist in general sales functions by calling up one clients
• Inventory, track, and order Office supplies as necessary
• Make Travel, Hotel and rental vehicle arrangements if required
• Prepare advertising inquiry responses.
• Compile monthly activity report for the Manager
• Update pricelist changes and distribute as instructed by Management

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least grade 12 with secretary certificate/diploma and 2 years’ experience in Sales Assistance, Inside Sales skills preferable in Medical distribution or Supplies industry.
• Secretarial experience to include data entry, typing, making copies, sending Emails, filing and switchboard/phone routing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; especially Excel and Word
• Proficient with Quickbooks Accounting & POS System
• Knowledge of Medical Products is a Must
• Excellent Communication Skills in English and Afrikaans
• Can work under pressure
