Human Resource Manager

Hiring Organisation: Premier Human Capital Corporation Namibia

Key arreas

• To maintain the statutory requirements for the company as per the legislation
• To maintain and facilitate Employment Equity situations and BEE Scorecards; Workplace Skills Plan; and ensure that the company is raised accordingly.
• To ensure that all information is processes into VIP system together with the Payroll Administrator
• To facilitate with all Union business with the shop stewards, including the wage negotiations
• To ensure that managers are acquainted with and are applying all latest industrial relations legislation, including the monitoring of all disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Ensure that AIDS Committee remains proactive and offer assistance as and when relevant
• To co-ordinate the training and development programme together with management
• To assist with the procurement, interviewing, reference checking, psychometric testing and induction training, including all aspects of each job description with all employees, while maintaining a cost effective budget
• To assist with career and succession planning
• To control performance appraisal with each employee of the company at least once per annum
• To perform exit interviews with all personnel upon their resignation/termination of employment and highlight any problem areas as may arise from time to time
• To assist with Human Recourses functions throughout the company as per requirements of the company, by providing counselling as and when necessary or arranging for same as applicable

Education, Experience & Competencies

• Minimum Human resource Degree or relevant/related certification
• Ability to liaise with Head of department, Union officials, shop stewards and member of staff, including outsourced company personnel if required
• Full working knowledge of the basic conditions of employment act, the labor relations act and the employment equity act
• Qualification as skills development facilitator would be an advantage
• Able to assist with annual wage negotiations
