Sales Administrator

AVI LIMITED is home to many of South Africa’s leading and best-loved brands. Listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in the Food Products sector, and centred on the FMCG market.

Our International division has an opportunity that has become available for a
Sales Administrator to join our Namibia team based in Windhoek. Reporting directly to the Key Accounts Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for front desk operation and the general administrative duties within AVI Namibia.

Responsibilities will include:

Pricing and loading of deals:
Pricing claims below 1%
Load deals correctly
Confirm correct pricing to call centre with in the mandate
Update customer masters
Check pricing claims. Validate on portal or compile reversal packs for KAM
Sales Operational Excellence:

Professionally and accurately address queries and provide effective feedback to internal/ external customers. Weekly update to the sales team
Daily update send through pricing discrepancies
Follow up on orders with customers before NOD date

Effective admin:

Front desk operation. Ensure opposition and trade information is communicated according to company requirements. Ensure price surveys are completed on time. Communicate all issues and provide solutions where possible. Follow the call cycles and communicate any changes to customers. Handle all queries in a professional and effective manner. Keep Key Accounts manager up to date on daily issues.

Experience required:
• At least 2 years’ within a FMCG environment
• Advanced SAP, Excel

Qualifications required:
• Grade 12 / Matric
• Qualification in Business Administration or related required
• Police Clearance
• Tax Certificate or Number

Knowledge required:
 Advanced computer skills
 Well-developed knowledge of business processes pertaining to sales
 Good understanding of Sales reporting requirements
 Valid driver’s license
