General Manager For Windhoek Based Tour Operator
Midsize tour operator seeks General Manager.
Start date: from 1st July 2018
*Namibian Citizen or Permanent resident
*Fluent in English, 2nd language an advantage
*Strong administration skills
*MUST HAVE min 3 years managerial experience, tourism industry preferred
*Must have strong working knowledge of computers including all Office Applications
*MUST have excellent people skills
*MUST have excellent problem solving skills
This is not a Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm position and this position is best suited to individuals that enjoy new challenges.
*Managing team of 20 staff including guides/drivers/mechanics as well as office staff, with assistance from management team
*Dealing with client issues
*Training of tour consultants & mid management level staff
*Liaising with agents & external suppliers
*Management & reporting of income/expenditure
*Analyzing business trends and creating appropriate marketing strategies to increase growth in sales.
*Supervision of website development
*Management of company resources
*Product development & some sales
